Through our co-development model, Rising Tide Development Strategies functions as a staff extension to help municipal entities evaluate and determine what makes sense and how best to implement solutions. We sit on the same side of the table as the municipality.

Co-development allows us to assist municipal entities in simplifying the process of procuring clean energy and related infrastructure. We help municipal leaders resolve and prioritize their goals and then run a process to obtain the best solutions at the right prices.

UNLOCKING CAPITAL
We bring private capital to public projects through a “Sustainability-as-a-Service” model, where a third-party owns the infrastructure and assumes the risks of maintenance and failure, while the municipal entity pays a “subject-to-appropriations” monthly fee for those services.
LEADERSHIP
The co-founders of Rising Tide Development Strategies are Steve Gossett and Jack Sterne, who collectively have over five decades of experience in clean energy project development, implementation, finance, and government relations.
Over the last 5 years, they have developed and closed in excess of $1 billion in Sustainability-as-a-Service transactions.
